A Scout works to pay his own way and to help others. He saves for the future. He protects and conserves natural resources. He carefully uses time and property

“A Scout works to pay his own way and to help others.” This wording, or a version of it, has been in the explanation of “A Scout is Thrifty” in the Scout Law for decades.  

Fundraisers

Popcorn, Camp Cards and Christmas Wreaths are all great ways for the unit to offset the cost of events. 216 Fundraisers are pooled to lower the cost of campouts and summer camp.
