About troop 216
Founded in 2006, Troop 216 prides itself on being one of the premier Scouting units in Frisco. When looking for a Troop to join, you want to pick a unit that gives your boy the freedom to grow and at the same time the opportunity to become a leader. Troop 216 uses the Patrol method - Scouts leading Scouts. When you visit with our Troop you will notice the senior Scouts taking charge of the meetings and the adult Leaders in the background guiding. Sometime this means that our meetings look unorganized, but being truly boy run, it grows into great accomplishments.
Boy Scout Troop 216 proudly serves Frisco, Texas. Through our active boys, active parents and active leaders we maintain a fun, safe environment that teaches our young men the values and morals they need to become outstanding citizens in our community and nation.
